An elephant never forgets... but you might. Write it down!
An “elephant poo” journal highlighting the Chicago neighborhood map on both front and back cover. Interior pages alternate between tan and cream. The tan pages are from elephant poo (the ultimate in recycling!), the cream pages from recycled rags. No, it doesn’t smell!
The dung is collected from shrines in Rajasthan, India, where the animals are used for transportation. Once retrieved, the plant fibers are removed from the dung and turned into paper. 4% of proceeds go to the Elephant Welfare Project in Jaipur, a mobile veterinary service endorsed by the Humane Society.
